Greetings, citizens, and welcome back to the Hidden Dagger Inn! My name is Peon,
Zerging can dominate battles, but is it really the best strategy? We analyze the pros and cons of zerging in PvP scenarios within Ashes of Creation, and what smaller guilds can do to compete. Let’s hear your opinions on whether zerging should be encouraged or curbed.

Leave your comments Below, are you concerned about zergs? Will you look for a very large guild or tend to look for smaller communities?
Love the content
I wonder if there can be also used another division:
1) People, who don't like zergs may be viewing war in more chivalrous way, more as a battle of individuals, that values (and shows to everyone!) that single person abilities. Main focus may be put in getting satisfaction and admiration of personal achievements (the micro scale). They may shun people, who likes zergs, seeing them as weak and somehow cheating (or achieving victory in dishonest, not proper way).
2) People who like zergs, on the other way, may percieve war more in post 1st World War categories, where focus has shifted from skills of individual to management of many groups and team effort (in macro scale, which is not as easy as playing in small groups). Such players may get satisfaction from doing maybe not so glorious (on individual level) feats, but the ones, that, in greater picture, summed all together, will decide about winning the war (instead of a single battle). The goal of community is more important (and brings more satisfaction), than the individual achievement. They may shun people, who dislikes zergs, seeing them as egoistic and unable to see greater picture, thinking about their personal show off, while deluded by vision of conflict as a kind of noble duel, instead of a set of goals to be achieved.
There are just two different visions on how the game 'should' be played, people who are looking for different things in PvP gameplay.
Keep on keepin on dude!
i am not a fan of zerging myself. I feel like I can no longer feel the impact of the damage that i do and such when there are too many people. But if the boss or event is designed around high numbers than that is a different case. but zerging content that is meant for say, 8 players, and 50 show up and finish the content in 2 seconds, that doesn't sound too fun to me and it takes away the challenge as well. I definitely hope that the systems they put in place to combat zerging are harsh to prevent that kind of gameplay.
The dwarven Zerg army will stomp.
