Buy your Fishing Pole from a vendor – you can start with any quality pole, but I would say, buy the best you can afford without leaving yourself short of cash to buy other stuff. Fishing seems very basic in Alpha 1 but I am happy it is there to try. No bait required – just grab your pole, and look for SPARKLES on the shore.
