  1. Nodes will be very much tied to the community of players around them.
    Will it change MMOs? I'm, not hedging any bets on it yet, there's a lot of X factors, particularly with how the community responds to them. For example, people becoming governors of nodes just to grief people for a month, or entire nodes+vassals that swear to destroy every node not part of their network. More positively, they could build great communities with enviable leadership that players both old and new will remember fondly for years, or be the bastion of some of the greatest moments in massive-scale PvP most players have ever seen. They could also easily be ghost towns with nary any soul in them, a gas station on the highway to more exciting and populated locations. All we can do is wait and see when the next testing phases make their rounds.
