I sure hope they have done more than what they show in the dev updates. Assumedly they have made some ground with a finalised version of the combat, as well as node mechanics like caravans and infrastructure.
I understand why Intrepid wouldn't want to show those off, especially if they are not done yet, but it makes for slow news. I think most people would agree with me that what they've shown recently doesn't really have a lot of weight in the minds of the fans.
