The upcoming MMORPG Ashes of Creation by Intrepid Studios has a lot of systems and features commonly found in older, more hardcore style games. This particular system will effect how you progress through the world. What’s your preferred style?

I want to take my time so I can enjoy the process.
I changed it up a bit for this video. I decided to skip the script and speak my thoughts from the heart. So if it seems like I'm rambling I apologize. Hope you enjoy!
Appreciate the Ashes content Roarrior.
A plenty of players, I suppose (and myself in particular) would love to have dopamine loop in the game. Leveling is an obvious reward for efforts. And I am afraid that hi-end content will provide less dopamine sources…. This is the pros to slow leveling
That really depends , longer leveling time can be great if you have enough activities to do during the leveling , like old mmorpgs, the problem with newer mmorgs is that all meaningful content is only available after you reach max level what makes everyone rush the leveling phase…
Personally, I would like the pace to be slightly slower as well. The longer you stay at a certain level range, the more content you can experience for that level. Usually, you do a couple of quests, level, and move on. Slowing things down gives you a chance to explore more at different levels.
I think it should be slower , so that you can experience more content at lower and mid level..
I think it is just about right. But hard to say till we are in the game
Roar's Rants! 🔥 I like this style of video.
I took time out of doing nothing to watch this video
You really didn't cover a critical point as much as you could have is when it comes to content and leveling in AoC. The Node system and how it will change zones and the content of those zones as the nodes level up. Regardless of how you level you will likely miss out on content at some point.
A longer leveling process would mean that you would have more of the world to explore. If the world is so large but you can max level so fast that would suggest you wont need to explore much of the world, or if we have to explore a lot then it suggests a lack of overall content.
It's the forced PVP that may be the thing that makes me regret paying as much as I have for this game already. I don't trust this corruption system they have talked about. The optional PVP stuff, like caravans, I think are good. Getting ganked "picking flowers" and losing 100% death penalty if I do not engage in a guaranteed loss is total B.S.
