I think they're fine. I don't know why all the haters decided to show up after the stream Friday and acted a fool. They reshot the video and it's 150% times better, and I think they've seen where they messed up. You have to remember, Steven doesn't have to show us anything. They could be just like any other brain dead studio and just close down the info line till launch. People don't know how lucky we are to have a studio like theirs willing to take feedback and the sharing of their progress. You definitely won't see this again our life time. People make mistakes, the main thing is that they learn from their mistakes, and dont repeat them. Also, the greatest thing from the live showcase to me was it showed the team playing their game together and having fun. So Ashes is in a good state and I can't wait for Alpha2!
I think they will advertise as "mmo game changer" and when released will be Black Desert Online with more theme park, that is my prediction. For now, they have the best mmo base, they need to polish it. The one huge problem they have is the open pvp thing, which is unrealistic, archaic and non functional for a mmorpg, the only purpose of that was to push pay to win, as most p2w mmo's. They say that the game is "for everyone" then they say "the game does not have to be popular" which is contradictory, and unrealistic too. It won't be popular with the pvp model they have. Everything else is good, difficulty, crafting I don't know, but I imagine a good system, party, class specialization, all good, even the combat seems very good. Could be better, but it is good.
