If I remember correctly, Shadowbane had some of the best PvP. CC usually came in the form of debuffs rather than hard cc and only certain classes could. The rest had personal or party buffs that were unique to the class and encouraged group play.
I think Ashes won't let us test everything, and they will hide true Node locations as well by making every node the same type during testing – then switching the Node types 4 times.
So something I’ve noticed there is hardly any hard cc, that you’re able to be damaged through. Unless you are combo-ing off another status effect. Most classes in ashes can stun and damage but it’s off a combo in most of the cases. I think this will remain the same sort of “cc” for rogue when it comes out as well.

Wait.. they actually hired a rl economist?!?
The start of the video about cc is correct. I'm normally all for cc breaks but only because of stuns
I'd like to see new ccs
Like spell blocks on your next spell or things like that. Not just a permanent hard lock on your entire character

announcing that another node is locking your region out of progresion is fine i guess
dark age of camelot has 9 sec stun and one min root / sleep but you know exactly who does what from visuals hint's.
