  1. I'm expecting that guild wars will be prevelent a lot, with a lot of entities at the same time. Some might think that this is a "cheap" way to avoid corruption, but from a server continuity standpoint its imperative that you can set "red" and "blues" on a permanent basis, so that you can immediatly attack someone of a certain guild without having to worry about corruption.

    Incursions and wars, sieges etc are all subdivisions due to guild wars. A guild doesn't go to war because its node gets attacked, the nodes get attacked because guilds are at war. Node and castle sieges are expensive and require a lot of planning, so the driving force behind them will be long feuds brought by … guild wars.

  2. Guild Wars in Lineage 2 (which Steven takes a lot from) was not a limited time thing. If you declared war to anoteher guild you could kill one another without gaining Karma. You just go into combatant state even if the enemy didn't attack back.
    It was pretty fun to hunt each other and I hope it will be kinda similar in AoC too since Flagging system is exactly the same.
