Ashes of Creation is an open world MMORPG set in a fantasy environment where you can choose different classes and races to adventure through with your friends. Intrepid Studios is the developer behind the game. Theyβre technically an indie studio, but their creative director Steven Sharif has a clear vision for his video game: Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game. He wants to put the massive back in MMO. Exploring dungeons, griding for gear, crafting armor/weapons, learning new spells, and competing in large scale PvP battles. High end PvE such as raids will mainly occur in the open world. Bosses will spawn and roam through the land. Are YOU ready to enter the world of Verra?

After I made the intro animations, I realized the animal husbrandrist looked just like Nyce gaming so I sent him a picture. He kindly offered to voice the character so thanks to him for the voice acting!
Great video!…..now my brain hurts…..lol
Genetics POG
Good stuff
I hope they don't dumb down the genetics process at all.
I played an MMO with this similar feature, and I can tell you by experience, reading a guide and thinking you get it and actually apply the knowledge is two different things.
What about farming? Same system?
Is this feature still making it in the game?
The genetics aspect is hitting my bio geek hard!!! Canβt wait.
Holy Crap!
This man has +100 on intelligence. Great video, brother.
xXBongslayer42069Xx ! Dude is my favorite YouTuber!
I might take Genetics over again in University if they use Ashes as the case study.
This is going to sound bat shit insane but there's a hentai game with a very good and surprisingly good breeding/heritage system lmao. Sseth has a video on it called breeders of nephelym
Hahaha, that Nyce gaming cameo at the start of the video, if I am not wrong.π
Ark had something similar. I loved the importance of Breeding mounts, dinos and warhorses for PvP and the impact it made and prestige it gave to own the best breed line. I really hope Ashes can bring that feel back.
24 chromosome crew checking in
This actually makes me want to do husbandry in the game. Definitely feel alpha 2 will last a while with how many complex systems they will have piled on top of one another.
"Scum" game has ultra realistic body metabolism system which noone cares about. I just hope that Intrepid will make it worth to sink dozens of hours in breeding and hunting.
You just changed my entire perspective of the game. Now i want to hunt rare creatures like a pokemon game lol
love Nyce voice acting in the beggining
Turkish lira became a gamer currency lol. I wish it was a coin perhaps would had gained some value..
Love your content man, helps me to understand some of the more unique systems coming up in AoC
Your content also adds a level of interest I may not have otherwise had to these myriad of systems coming with the game
Cheers as always
If horses can die they will be so expensive, otherwise i doubt it would take long until everybody has a pair of best horses and keep breeding them forever..
This cleared up a bit of hesitation I had about animal husbandry. The fear was with it being such an in-depth system combined with being able to "cross breed" species that everyone and their mother would be going animal husbandry trying to make and sell kick ass mounts. Only having a few breeding attempts per animal as well as the genetic RNG should mean that even if there are loads of people in the profession, there is a chance to make some coin!
Also, having an intra-profession specialization (e.g. an additional level of specialization in husbandry) is such a good call. While mount ranchers will likely be the most popular and the most lucrative for BiS statted mounts that look cool, there will likely be consistent profit in livestock/beast of burdens specialization assuming mounts is highly saturated so you can still experience the depth of the system without feeling like nothing sells.
πππππ Do this Game even Exists ???????? Or it's just a Hoax
Ima gunna do the animal husbandries… Ima gunna make me some Sheeples…
Good video, time to check out your previous works. Subbed
Very interesting video, this makes me want to try hunting and animal husbandry in the tests!
The way Steven talked about their genetics made me think it might be possible for there to be a way to see the animalsβ genetics through some high level animal husbandry building. If this were implemented, how would you think this would affect the complexity and fun of this profession? Would it make it less of a pain, or would it take away from the joy of experimenting and discovery?
oh dude i love u XD
hahah the horns comment still cracks me up Steven has obviously never worked on a cattle farm IRL π Hands up for those of us with extra chromosomes π
Nice one! I can't wait to see all the crazy stuff that will be populating Vera!
