There has been a lot of interest around New World the past couple weeks. I spent some time diving into the game in the free time I did have this past week. I was pleasantly surprised especially after the recent alpha tests. It is still too early to tell how well the game will do but here are the 5 things I think that New World did correctly and hope that #AshesofCreation is paying attention to.
#Intrepid has said that #Alpha is when the community can have the most influence on the game through feedback so let me know what you think in the comments below!

I agree with the skins. On launch I don't want to log on and see everyone in their skins right away. Some early game progression without them would be nice.

We've talked about the importance of good audio in the game a lot in the community and you hit on the key points here. Agree that Gathering among the other Artisan trees needs to feel good and rewarding. Too often it feels so repititious and boring
