  1. Mate to be honest i dont watch you for politics and its annoying how you bring it up constantly at the start.

Also literally everyone in the government but Mitch wants the 2,000 stimulus instead of the 600, how is it a bad thing to not sign off on the 600

  2. I think for the comment about raid size requiring 40 people, that in the beginning with healthy server populations it will be fine. But as the years drag on there will eventually be low population servers where finding the required group size will be challenging, even during prime time. Or how about a mature server where most of the player base is max level and a new player joins a couple years in. Will they be able to do the content without high levels coasting through it for them. Like in wow, early world leveling is a ghost town without some group of people that have decided to level together.

Outside of having large guilds where they have the numbers to pull a group it will be hard. This was true in wow where many small guilds and pugs struggled to get enough people without waiting hours trying to find a healer or tank. It was also one of the main reasons why wow started the lfg/lfr tool and eventually did cross-realm to simply up the number of potential players as the population on their servers were simply too small for all the groups. Start tacking on more requirements such as level, gear score, class, subclass, game knowledge, skill, keys or pre-reqs to even enter the content and you vastly reduce the pool of potential people.

You can offset that some by having people re-roll their class to the needed profession but that is the minority of people willing to do that and ditch all their previous character progression and start over. Later in the game this happens, the more it hurts without catchup mechanics or power leveling groups.

  3. Thank god you told people Not to get into the market now. 100% agree. It's a G*d*mn twilight zone market bubble. An actual bear market, 2008 style is coming. Not the end of the world, we will recover, but the hangover from this party is coming and it won't be just 2 months of a tiny 40% drop.

  4. On Fortnite being a flash in the pan and Epic needed to figure out what else they're going to do…
I miss Unreal Tournament. I never got into Gears of War, but it was very popular. I would love to see them do something with these IP's. They have some kind of half-baked UT in beta right now, but they don't really do anything with it and people cheat in matches all the time.
Would just love to see more from this company game wise.

  5. I love that Epic vs Steam rant you made, seriously, Steam loyalist need to research a little bit on marketing, Steam has been the de facto monopoly for years, and simply having the shiniest store wont move away the people who already own +200 games on Steam… exclusive deals is the only way to make people even look at your store. Imagine if Disney released Disney+ but all the shows in that platform are also available on Netflix, it would sink in the water no matter how pretty you make the app…
