1. If you want more crafting materials you can upgrade all of the OPR gear to legendary, salvage to get the scraps and craft scraps to materials.
2. I think you are keeping WAY too much gear that you will probably never use (for example the warhammer from OPR that you made legendary). If you took the time to put together sets that you actually use and scrap the rest of it the storage problem would somewhat be fixed.
