  2. i think all mmo should have this much content and complexity. We as beaten dogs player just grew used to get little to no content. If you think of the scope of World of Warcraft for 2004 and compare to Ashes of Creation for 2022, it matchs.

  3. Too much content is definitely a thing but I feel like without it, especially in a MMO as big as ashes wants to be it would just make it feel incomplete. The possible problem I see happening is all of the systems not connecting properly making everything feel very disconnected from one another

  4. Who knows what kind of player I will able to be when the game finally comes out…
Nevertheless, for me there isn't such thing as too much content as long it's not FOMO-triggering (cooldowns, weekly/daily limits etc). If I can decide what and when I want to do without missing out much that's fine.
Also, being casual in AoC will simply mean having reduced expectations and knowing your limitation (as simple as that, at least for me)

  5. It's gonna be interesting to see how many people try to rush all the content like all the current MMO's just to find out they can't max stuff out without a metropolis that may not appear for the first month or two.

  6. Ashes will have a lot of systems. However remember it doesn't all overwhelm new players at the start. Many of the systems become available down the line. I don't see lower level players seiging, raiding, or partaking in naval activities.

  7. I honestly think the systems and content being added now is overwhelming for new players, but as time goes on, the content will give players always something to do. It creates a constant drive to do more. For example, you may max out your blueprint creations for armor, but what if there’s more in another continent that you could learn? Same with Gatherers, what if there’s different material in another continent that could help your node for advancement or better for players?
