Read more about Ashes of Creation ➜ https://ashesofcreation.mgn.tv

This weekend in Ashes of Creation Alpha 2 testing, we dived into epic PvP battles, explored the Artisan system with Tailoring, and started leveling a Bard, which turned out to be insanely fun! I also tackle the major duplicate glitch that’s been making waves in the community and discuss its impact on the game. Join me for a recap of all the highlights, insights, and my thoughts on the state of Alpha 2 as we move forward in testing!

  1. ashes looks awesome!! i am worried about the claims about steven being a part of an mlm before starting ashes and the steep alpha price for what is really qa testing. on the other hand, ive seen interviews with steven and he seems truly passionate. Plus, he (and other GMs) seem to actually be playing the game, which is a really good sign. it feels like mixed signals to me. i suppose its best to wait until the game is fully released.

  2. I hope too, they strip all people who used the bug.. Its no fun, when you saw that poeple crafted Items in 1h that you would need alot more time… But i am sure alot will complain if they make a roleback or even a full reset..

  3. Thank you for sharing and happy birthday.πŸ˜„ I too am enjoying the bard (along with other roles') gameplays. Is AoC Alpha testers discovering a bug in the game and it being brought to the development team's attention potentially good for the future (especially launch) of the game in certain ways? Is AoC Alpha testers discovering a bug and it not being brought to the attention of the development team potentially bad for the future (especially launch) of the game in certain ways? In my opinion/after considering some things, I currently think testers that discovered this bug and brought it to the dev team's attention should be praised. Should testers that intentionally exploit/abuse this bug after discovering its existence be reprimanded? If yes, how severe should the reprimanding be etc.? If yes (and depending on how severe etc.), what are some of the effects you think reprimanding could have? If no, what are some of the effects not reprimanding could have? This is one (of I'm sure many) things an Alpha is designed to try to discover/work through/teach a gaming company how to navigate/show a game's players what the maker of the game's principles may be at the time/ etc. etc.. In my experience, these matters usually have complexities to them and I think benefit from a plethora of questions/viewpoints/considerations/conversations/observations/experiences/research/etc. etc. Historically (through what I've observed) the Intrepid Team seems to conduct business with ingredients of reason, impartiality, and critical thinking and seem to care about the game and the player. For me, their behaviors have built some established faith.πŸ˜„

  4. The bows shown at 9:49 are real and were crafted legitimately. There are 7 of them and it took around 20 people gathering and buying mats nonstop for 2 weekends of testing to get everything prepped to craft them.

  5. The audacity to say Nova is ass πŸ™‚ . Y'all stayed guildless and a few in Hydra but everyone was doing a crafting spree lmfao. We all assumed you guys dodged the server because we saw like 5 of you guys online. Also polar and you guys declared war on our guild 5 which had lvl 10-20 players leveling, that was cringe.
