Still not impressed by what i've seen of the game. I will wait for real reviews before i even think of trying this game. I have 0 faith that this game will release finished.
Once they have the in-game models done they can focus on lights, shadows and more environment effects. There is no point dedicating people to make it look flashy so early in development! You can't really compare it with New World which is a few months away and I guess has a way bigger dev team behind it. I really like how steady the progress of the game is going and am optimistic about it. Time will tell!

To be honest for pre alpha it looks ok, this needs some time so we will see in future.
Now if i should say something about this for me and i believe this is actually first time i'm saying this graphics in this game looks overdone they are not necessary to have all that details and it kinda look plastic… which i'm not fan of i would be rather happy for something simplistic but this might change and if you put down all settings maybe it will look like complete dogshit and that would make me actually happy because it would be setting right for me.
From gameplay standpoint, we will see i like mechanics and ideas so for the future we will see… if Ashes will not take spot then nothing will i know too many peoples are putting in their hopes for this project because we simply don't have good MMORPG to play. WoW is boring, new expansion come out you rush trough it and it's done everything else is like "yeah, i don't care…" New World is not out so hard to say. FF is not really made for me but maybe i will give it a shot and other alternatives like BDO seriously they are not worth of time and energy to even talk about.
I really hope the weapons stay visible on your back and on your hip when you are not in combat ,like this it looks like he pulls his weapons out of his ass , now i understand the game is not even in the alpha but they need to put more meat to the combat(mele combat i don't care for magic) like this it feels like you are slapping your target with wet tissue ,and for the world it looks amazing even in this state .
The head guy sounds like he's struggling to present a college project also not that great of a look. It sounds stupid to say, but he just sounds so lame like he struggles with rl social interaction. Overall looks like a bad guildwars 4/10.

Game has too many Limited exclusives Skins/Sets that was only obtainable from the Store every few month…. we are at what ? 40+ Exclusive limited skins that never ever be Obtainable again ? and the game not even launched…. i bet the game itself will have like HALF the ammount of cosmeting where HAlf of them wont even look as good as the LIMITED EXCLUSIVE store ones… it can go to hell with this system…
Cosmetics in MMORPGs is as Important as anything else honestly. and it seems like a good 70% of the Cosmetic gears are allready lost to players who wasnt paying in their store every few month since the begining. this is a HUGE midddle finger to allot of players.

We really need new genres in MMORPG. No more elfs, fireballs, mount, and instanced raids. Give us something new please. Completely change the genre, dont rape us again with orcs, elfs, fireballs, 5 man dungeon instances, crafting, and mounts. chnge the genre completely, ban the medieval genre, we had enough of it.

Gameplay comments:
-the movement looks floaty (not the slow one but the fast one)
-the cloth armor looks ok but the plate/mail one looks like plastic glued to your legs etc.. I had the same problem with eso's armors … not enough bulk? details? parts? I mean armor in vallheim looks better
-the skill animations are meh at best, really lackluster, not something i would want to press (both in looks and impact)

Also, the animator needs a restudy on how a quadruped moves, particularly it's fox subject… That is not how a giant fox with 2 tails works. XD
I think this game is gonna have a lot of content but gameplay will feel like trash, just like any other mmorpg besides a few. New World will have a much bigger chance to succeed as they do have the resources to polish a gigantic game.
