Totally agree with the argument that if the game allows for that grieffing SO THE GAME'S PVP IS LIKE THAT. It actually concernes me that the game is not playable by famous streamers

P.S. Steven is the ultimate griefer, btw. I think he went corrupt in every dev stream as of late. And there hasn't been any motivation for that either. He just did it cause he could, but he made it look like it was unintentional every single time 😀

I think within the nodes there will enevidably be a policing system by the guildes in charge and then you'll have better cities than others. I think it adds another layer to the game and would like to keep it as is.

I played the entire weekend and wasn't killed in PvP once. This was entirely because of who he is and is not typical of the atmosphere of the game.

It's unfortunate that this happened to Asmondgold, but it was needed. I took part in the first weekend of Alpha 2 and one server was a gankfest at the starter town, Lionhold, and people were getting ganked at lvl 1-3 by people 2-3 times their level. If you complained about it in chat the internet toughguys would lashout that this is EXACTLY what this game is about and AoC isn't for you. Sorry kiddies, enjoy the ban!

I do think the safezone are indeed mendatory, and that's from a player that PK his own faction for packs back in Archeage and became pirate. The people who killed Asmongold are stupid, and the people who think it's normal and there is streamer privileges are stupid as well, there is no world where it's ok to kill a player continuously, streamer or not. Especially at starting zone (and everywhere). It's a good thing that it's happening now in alpha tho!

I gota disagree im not one for pvp anymore it died in wow and stopped doing it.. but the game is a PVP foundation game making it a Gankbox shit show toxic breeding mmorpg… like any OG pvp server in wow.. unless they make it where only if in a war or faction at war should PVP be allowed would it not become toxic lol

If you allow griefing via the systems in the game, people will grief, 100% chance in every MMO forever, and ever. This is one of the eternal laws of the MMORPG, especially where PvP is involved.
No matter what flagging system or restrictions on players for ganking it will happen in huge numbers. There will be entire guilds that just gank and not give a fuck about anything else!
