  1. I heard we'll only be allowed one char per server, so you can't share crafting items between characters on the same account. I feel like that really disincentivizes alts.

  3. Why are you talking about this stuff so early, I mean a majority of the stuff you talk about in these videos I believe, will be in an expansion later down the road. So why talk about them now?

  4. FF14 took the best route of having alts

The weapons you use is your class with restrictive gearing. But because classes work differently in AoC, I just hope we can swap our secondary by critical choice if we feel the need to change our gameplay. Maybe like you want to switch from Batllemage to Acolyte after playing Battlemage for over 3 months and you get bored and isn't your style.

  5. sorry, I need to be able to make many different characters. I inevitably become bored with one character. Besides if I only have one character who's going to wear all the outfits they are selling??? One character don't work for me.

  6. Since AOC already talked about there being card mini games in certain establishments, I was just thinking if it would be a good idea if every mob in the game was to drop a collectable card with stats including NPCs, enemies upon death and even dungeon or raid bosses and then using these cards to set up the card game itself, that way it would provide the players with an incentive to keep going back to certain areas even more so and also I just think it would be a pretty cool system where you obtain the cards through your own hardwork and then use them to win these card mini games. Just a personal thought, in practice it may be not so good who knows

  7. "As the dust settles you stand resting your finally completed weapon on your shoulder".
At that moment there is a commotion and your friends start to drop like flies….
DEAD! Youmadbro, from the guild Wegank24/7, has hit you for 3458 hp, and has stolen your… Duskbringer, wood, ore.

  8. Some very cool ideas coming from the community in this video. I particularly like the idea of collections/collectables for research. I see this applying to animal husbandry to some extent as well so that unique breeds and cross breeds could be researched and developed.

This concept could apply to a whole bunch of artisan skills come to think of it. Rare mushrooms for cooking, rare herbs for alchemists to create amazing buff potions. The possibilities are endless.

  9. I might be outnumbered, but I thought the Legion artifact weapons were a bad idea, from the second they presented it at Blizzcon. “Oh no, here comes 300 paladins with Ashbringer”. And whadayouknow. We are 70 Highlords in our class order hall, 40 with Ashbringers, 15 each with Truthguard and Silver Hand. And the weapons lost their uniqueness.

The progression idea for the weapon was fun enough, but some weapons are just not meant for us. I prefer being “The Adventurer” to “Champion/Hero of Azeroth”.

  10. So, I may be in the minority for this but…I'd love for books to be a physically collectable Items, Imagine traveling the world to collect books on a particular subject to finish off your collection. This would also go well with players being able to write their own books, players could eventually be known for their good writing skills, making their books more sought after.
