Ashes Of Creation has been in development for quite sometime with no for sure release date or timeline even for the beta, but is this a good thing? Are game delays healthy for the industry? In today’s video I will explain why I feel ashes of creation taking what some are considering ‘a long time’ is actually a good thing and shows a development team cares about their product and not just profits. MMOs take a long time to develop and this one is no different especially considering the ground breaking features to be introduced. I hope to see you all in Alpha 2. Good video 👍
Good video nyce. Elden Ring is a great example of a game that came through with a lot of polish and is on pace to be game of the year. Customer service is important
Sometimes delays are great, and just what a game needs to deliver a quality gaming experience.
Delay is superior to releasing an inferior product not ready.
I'm super happy to see the neglected ESO community covering and talking about Ashes of Creation! Can't wait to gank you boys in the world of Verra!
Can’t wait for AoC! I’ve been keeping up with it since 2018. The class system seems like it will allow for a lot of diversity in playstyles and will keep my interest for a while.
The cautionary tale here is Camelot Unchained, the so-called successor to Dark Age of Camelot. Mythic entertainment sold to EA in like 2005, but then the director of Mythic decided some time around 2012 that he wanted to make a sequel to the original, with an all-new design team. Queue kickstarter, buying founders packages to get alpha and beta access, etc. And nothing 10 years later. A lot of lawsuits, but no product.
