  1. One thing to be aware of is that the teams that initially develop the game are different from the teams that continue with their maintenance and updates. That was also the case for ESO. The original dev team was really good which is why the design of the game was so good. Then the maintenance team took over and weve seen how bad they are at their jobs with each update being worse than the previous. This also happened in Conan and other initially great games. I hope AoC does not make that mistake.

  2. His comment at the 04:00 mark is very important: "to a degree…" You can't let players lead you down 100 different parallel paths either. It looks like a cool project though. I haven't expected games to even make it out of alpha after the Camelot Unchained debacle, but maybe these guys will surprise.
