Ashes of Creation wants YOU to choose: What are Nodes?

Read more about Ashes of Creation ➜

One of the key features of the upcoming MMORPG, Ashes of Creation, is the node system. Essentially the node system is the bedrock of the world and is tied to every action you will take in the game.

I wanted to give a brief overview of the node system in Ashes of Creation and why it sounds both exciting and scary as an MMO veteran.

What do you think of the node system? Can it work? Are you excited or concerned?

  1. So the lore is that everyone is returning to Verra. After having left for thousands of years. Meaning there are ruins and markers and lost cities. As well as npc culture races that have built up the world while they were gone.

  2. Nodes, and the entire economy along with ubiquitous PvP: if Ashes of Creation succeeds, it will be absolutely revolutionary.

The in game evolution of the Node System, if it works, could solve numerous problems which have plagued all previous MMOs.

While I remain committed to another project, Intrepid and Ashes of Creation impresses the hell out of me, and I look forward to seeing both succeed.

I am disappointed that advocates of one project too often dismiss the value and chance for success of the other project.

There are only two projects that interest me at all. I will likely play Ashes, at least some, as well as my preferred project.

We would all be very fortunate if both succeed.

  3. I have to tell you the game looks great, even better than my personal crush Pantheon. I'm not into survival games, nor PvP (I'm a PvE'er) so odds are I may not play Ashes much, but I do expect to try it (for Sechari!!!) and hope it succeeds! Thanks for this coverage and your thoughts too Redbeard!
