As far as the gray scale stuff goes, I agree that people just can't handle seeing that stuff. I genuinely did see people complaining about he graphic fidelity, not as many as usual.. but I did see a few people saying "Game from 2003" people are insane.

While the focus did not meet the expectation, the stream was very informational. Overall, the stream was a solid 7 out of 10. However, I was left with a feeling that Nodes were still not quite ready, and the stream was a filler livestream since it was slightly disorganized. With the tight time restraints, why devote a 3 hour livestream devoted to systems that less than 8% of the player base will ever see, much less use. Even Intrepid will offer at least 2 livestreams covering Nodes in the future. I would suggest they split the streams into 2 different, back to back streams with different focuses instead of trying to pack all they can into two different streams separated by a few months.
Enjoying your guys pod casts. One thing I want to comment on is I disagree with your take on how long it will take to get to max level. I think New World is a bad example for a level grind as early there was no story line to enjoy. I have faith that leveling in Ashes will let you enjoy an actual game instead of calling it a grind. That being said, I think a lengthy leveling process is required for Ashes as the world grows around the players actions instead of the players leveling up in a static world.
