So Ashes of Creation is generally quite well recieved by most people… however there’s a small subset of people out there preaching that it is THE SAVIOR OF THE MMORPG GENRE. Could this be true? Well in today’s video we’re going to explore this question and the answer… May not be what you expect.

  2. Say what you want but star citizen is great fun for 45 bucks, don't know why anyone who didn't get duped with 5k ship packages would be mad, also they fit 100 players into servers now, I know super innovative. But seriously it's the best screensaver walking/flying simulator out there by far, the ships and planets are stunning and the bugs have led to some of the most unintentionally funny moments I've ever had with friends, easily put a couple hundred hours in this past couple years.

  3. Well I hope that Hases of Creation is going to be just one of the game that are going to be created from now on, with Unreal Engine 5 etc. It's up to us the players, not to accept anymore, the trushy games that we got in the last few years… I think we can't get any worst than at the present time… things can get only better and better… or at least that's my hope… Thanks 😀

  4. Balance will fuck it up like all the others. Followed closely by community (or lack there of, asshats and griefers). Armour look and UI needs a shitload of work still as to not look like it's from 2005.

  5. You are so full of shit and have no idea what you're talking about with the Riot MMO, which is ironic because you're harping on about undelivered promises and "we haven't even seen the game yet" for things like AoC. Yet you willingly and gladly throw completely unfounded and non-sensical accusations toward the Riot MMO because "muh triple A company!!!". Go do some research before you make shit claims.

  6. Really don't see the hype about ashes to be honest I follow it from Time to time and it just looks and feels like rift.. I honestly don't believe this game will revive anything it will just be big for a few months and die down like ever mmo nowadays. I do hope it's a good mmo though just Don't think it will be great and amazing which it doesn't have to be.

  7. I really like what I've been seeing from the development over the last few months. The only gameplay related thing I'm skeptical about right now is the feeling of the mounts. They seem to feel a lot like ArcheAge, which makes sense since that's where Steven comes from and they haven't made a point about focusing on innovating in that area. I really hope though that they do what Blizzard does (never thought I'd say that sentence) with Dragonflight and take inspiration from Guild Wars 2. GW2 has the best mount feel among MMOs I've played to date. I want the mount to feel like it's own creature with it's own turning radius, momentum, mechanics, etc, and not just a speed bonus to my character with a model attached to it with shallow skills like "run faster". I also really like how GW2 introduced "false flying" into the game with the Skyscale and Griffon mounts, which feels awesome without busting travel like "true flying" would.

  8. Even if it is not the saviour of MMOs, I bet I will have a few entertaining months with it. I really enjoyed New World for the first few months, and I have for other earlier MMOs as well. I will be happy if I get a few months from it.

  9. I mean, it's overhyped af even without considering the small sect claiming it'll be the savior even being included. It's still years or even a decade or so away from release in its current state. Could have unreal engine 6 or even 7 before it releases because of just how far off it seems to be.

  10. I cannot understand players that would rather play same content over and over then playing new game, new story and new content. Look wow players for example, they play 8 dungeons over and over for 2years instead of trying new game and adventuring in open world and exploring new stuff. What a bunch of idiots in my opinion, how something as repetitive is not boring, I think only dumb people cannot see that repetitiveness is boring.

  11. Dat intro…lmao…nice one. As I've told you before, Steven ain't no dummy, BUT I would be willing to argue that his love for the game itself and industry might equal his wanting or desire to make money. Remember he didn't need/have to do any of this mess, and by what I've seen and heard the designers say, their love for the game is right there with Steven, and that is VERY good thing. I think we're in very good hands for the life and longevity of this game. Keep the vids coming!

  12. Riot's mmo will definitely find a place in the current market. The production value on basically whatever they do is through the roof. The LoL cinematics are crazy, the story of runeterra or whatever it's called is vast and they have their hands in so many genres of games it would hard for them to not release something to combat the current games. I'm sure it'll be another themepark MMO but there's a huge playerbase looking for that, too. Riot is quickly becoming what blizzard was. High production value on cinematics and gameplay, deep story and quality control. I don't play or even like any of their games, but to grow in genres like Moba and FPS is not hard and they're battling giants like CS, dota and basically kicked out any other moba games like HoN. Also, the devs on the new riot mmo was active during the glory days of MMO's. I'm sure those devs, too, remember a time without microtransactions and went through a game's whole lifetime having it ravaged by it. To say that Riot will not deliver a proper, story rich, cinematic heavy game is naive, they will deliver. It will just not be a sandbox mmo with focus on "tHe JoUrNeY". It will probably try to be what wildstar tried to be.

  13. On the Star Citizen note their roadmap isn't hidden and they post updates every two weeks along with an accompanying article explaining said changes. Also they increased the server cap to 100 players with the last update and will hopefully increase again after server meshing is in. Still runs like shit though.

  14. The video of Star Citizen you had was very recent, but your information of Star Citizen is not. The Servers can have around 100-120 players atm, and more to come I think in the next big patch. Also almost everything you said is just not accurate about Star Citizen. So please do some research before opening your Copium filled mouth. Oh, and I am not hating.. I love your content, but I want facts about anything that is not Ashes of Creation. And Ashes of Creation to be videos of facts and theories derived from an overdoes of copium.

  15. Star Citizen keeps banging on about how they are developing propriatery tools to help make their vision a reality. Yet development never seems to make large strides forward. Where as Ashes seems to showcase massive leaps in tech and dev each time they make that same claim. Weird.

  16. I believe that "savior of mmo" is not accurate. More like the savior of mmoRPGs. And it's not going to be its savior but its end.
People are not thinking about something important, there will be no other MMORPG in the future that is going to be up to the task of giving a TRUE MMORPG experience.
It just won't happen. Other MMORPGs may appear, but they will not provide that experience. They will just be one more MMORPG of the bunch, maybe with better visuals, but that would be it. The industry is no longer interested in developing these games, nor are most gamers to play them. AoC is going to be the best and the last.
