Honestly, I just want a fun game, the systems all working as intended. The game designed to NOT just waste your time, no need to manipulate players to keep them paying a monthly sub, just make a fun game and the money will flow towards you. The combat needs to be fun and engaging. Many more reasons but I'm sure you get the idea.
MMO players and even gamers in general are just tired of being treated like virtual cash machines, for greedy corporate people and investors. If Intrepid can just release a functioning game (some bugs are fine) that's fun and enjoyable they win, it's simple as that.
After launching the game then they can truly begin to build upon what they have created to make an Ashes even more amazing.
