With Ashes of Creation BOASTING 64 classes the impending Balance nightmare is definitely on that puts the community on edge. However With today’s video I wanted to take the time to put together all the up to date information to dispell any worries this feature may create.

Apologies my doods – I had to delay this video by a day due to editting issues! however I did take the time to do a few extra quality passes to make sure it was extra special (OMEGALUL)

  2. Vanilla wow was a unbalanced mess and everyone loved it, because most all classes felt op in one situation or another. The only thing they should do is make sure no class is the runt loser.

  3. I kind of disagree on this one, I think it should be in depth. Steven said they're not balancing based on 1v1s and it's more different builds bring different things to certain situations. Also if it's minor changes doubling down on your class I believe will be meta

  4. They should try and make each class as unique as possible…cut it down to 32 if they need to Just be sure i get enough character slots to make one of each class, whatever that number is

  5. Augments cosed on aestetics is good for me. I always like to have feeling I play character with some identity this would allow me to feel this much greater than 64 unique only mechanics focused builds, which in the end wouldn't be even unique.

  6. I think I remember Steven saying that balancing the classes is not their primary concern with how they are designing things because they don't want to end up with some watered down version of everything like modern wow where all the classes feel the same and basically have all the same abilities. They want each class to actually be unique and have its own niche.

  7. i really hope you're right about the class fantasy stuff, theres many reasons why WoW has gone downhill, but in my opinion the dilution of class fantasy really killed my interest in the game.

  8. Im fine with asthetics so long as the base gameplay is solid. If they were to have 8 solid and unique playstyles – with fluid animations, movement, spell effects, and whatever else we can do in UE5 – then I would be perfectly happy with cosmetic/minor ability changes.
