I think the reason why mobs give so little xp, how it is now, is because they have thought about; What if many people log on to play the game? I think it might be to prevent competition, so people can actually do the quests and progress. MMOs are about the quests, it is still an RPG.
Esfand sure can tell you not to judge this game because it's in alpha and then just complain the whole time "mobs dont give mich exp it makes me not wanna fight" like wtf there's a reason they said questing would be a the main exp gain

I think this looks interesting and I've been thinking about changes I would do even though it's an alpha. One thing for sure is giving an option to turn off the sprint lines lol also most of the sound design is kinda meh

I don't think Fortnite beating PUBG had anything to do with movement, while it was slightly less clunky the gunplay was complete garbage. The building gimmick and frequent meta changes is what carried the game
I think the focus is on questing and not farming, so questing provides more xp. Also all the quest are placeholders and definitely will change.
I think that for an alpha AoC has been looking surprisingly good, hopefully they do not change up too many things and loose the player base attracted by this alpha period.

All these streamers need to try guild wars 2, a lot of the complaint esfands has GW2 does it correct.
They should make it so mobs with more hp gives more hp.
Right now every mob of the same level gives the same amount of hp, which is bad.

You dont have a gm breathing down your neck when your trying to enjoy the game, alot of people think gms teleporting asmon and watching his every move is good, imagine going to a new restaurant that you heard was decent, and the chef is behind you constantly when your trying the food. Let the fucking players play.
