0:24 That would be amazing, but I would love to see is a small stage in every tavern that can be used by a bard to earn money by playing their instrument (maybe even singing). Every time someone uses it, loop stop and everyone focuses on stage. Giving tips to a bard if they want or even boo-ing him/her off the stage would be a thing.
Ofc it would have to have CD so everyone gets their chance to perform. From bard perspective, gameplay would change into guitar hero one, where you have to hit specific color as notes come down.
Stage would be only useable by bards. Multiple bards could join on the same stage, but they have to use different instruments.
With that mechanics, you could make a band in game.
Py-rai is all death metal harp music, Niküa is all parrot head stoner music . Empyrean taverns are all cymbals, lyre and aulos. Kaelar is all sea shanties and bawdies. Dünir is all DnB speed metal. Tulnar is all screamcore etc 😉
I think it would be cool if they added small tavern buffs to bring players together. Maybe similar to a small world buff that give 3% damage buff or xp buffs. Could even work similar to music in New World where players just need to be in an area. Love taverns, hope they add value to them!
