  2. I'm trying to see the potential beyond this fluffy hype but I can't. Been playing MMOs longer than some of you been alive and all I see here is pretty visuals with static characters and dead gameplay

  3. Would AshesofCreation ever entertain the idea of a subscription based model for monetizing the game to avoid pay to win, or deincentivization for appearance and monut collection aspects of the game?

  4. Yeah it's all pure serenity right now, until release when the battle music hits, and we'll be slaughtering everything in sight for leather, hooves, teeth, livers, feathers, tails, etc.
    The ground shall be soaked in the blood of every beast we just saw. =p

    Glad to see seasons though, something long needed in every MMO. Tired of static zones that don't change, ever.

  5. failed to mention that animal behavior wont be anything like this, we see animals behave like this in every video game trailer and when we see them in game theyre running into a wall instead.

  7. Just imagine this, while you are walking in a bright sunny day, a random frost king dragon flew by and the weather just shifted along with the dragon when it spawned, now that's awesome! Now think about a dimensional Dragon that destroys the fabric of the game, all weather mixed up to create an apocalypse atmosphere! Cant wait!

  8. This looks so good! My 2 concerns – don't feel the need to always have tons of leaves flying off a tree. Having leaves fall off makes everything more realistic but if you overdo it then you're back at square one with the environment feeling fake. The thing that bugs me more – why are all the flowers 2 dimensional? Grass looks nice but all the flowers you've shown so far look like paper cutouts. If I were you I'd poach the artists who made flowers and plants in general in New World. That's basically the only thing that game did right.
    I'd probably feel like I was nitpicking if so many of things and systems you've showcased so far weren't absolutely incredible. These 2 things felt out of place so I wanted to point them out while you were still actively working on them.
    Also to Steven wanting to move there – we all do! Can't wait to lose track of time wondering those gorgeous environments.
