I've been following AoC since 2014 and It's kinda scary when they tease players with getting early access by spending, it used to be $250 down to $120 ontop of a game subscription later on to get into the playtest. The rumor is they are $40M in debt and they are trying to exit scam. Please let them prove me wrong, I really want a game to replace BDO, but the red flags are too blatant for me. Also, people are blaming Youtubers for hyping the game up, UHH bruh, where have you guys been, the DEV's themselves have been hyping this game to be the biggest MMO killer of all time since 2016.
As much as we all hate big publishers like activision and EA this the exact reason for them to be there. They would tell that they are wasting time and money on this and that the scope of the game is too big.

Why sell a game once… if you can sell it infinite amount of times! Star Citizen at least catches you with a new ship. may not do much with it, but its there after a while. and truth betold if you spend a lot of cash already, you can melt old stuff to buy the new shit with store credits. no need to spend more. but here you spend hundreds for a few days of alpha… again and again. i was "stupid" enough to spend money on star citizen. but i was cool with loosing it all. its a space sim that has no match imo. i will review it again 2032 when its 20 years in developement i guess. but this here… this is a whole other level. you get nothing. zero. anyone that already spend on it should have access. maybe make it a few weeks earlier for whales, i dont care. but you could just go drinking a weekend with the boys and have fun. you could pay ppl to have fun with if you need to. a spa weekend, upgrade your pc, gamble it away in a casino. throw it on the streets and laugh at ppl picking it up like you feed birds… anything is better.

The Day Before – MMORPG ver.
For as long as we have been waiting for Ashes, it looks like trash. Visuals, combat, classes, etc. It all looks like trash. A cluster of classes that barely have any identity. Combat that compares to early 2000s MMOs, and visuals that look like they are from the xbox360. It's harsh but it'd the truth.
Definitely blame the YouTubers for setting up all these idiots to buy Ashes of creation packages.

I bet when Ashes of Creation finally gets released they would only have 2-3 months of game content and people would wait a decade again for new content. 💀
They are almost as bad as Riot at this point, remember they took over 3 years to update their ICON of the game – Ahri and give her a visual overhaul for a handful of skins. Not a rework or a new class, just overhaul has been shown for good 3+ years. So AoC taking one year for a full class creation is up there with absolutely doing nothing for 6 days a week and then do something on the 7th day.
By the time they finish the game there will be no BDO to kill

Ashes of Creations are not scam for me, but if anybody would ask if he should put any money on it, I would say NO. I would recommend to wait for release.
Why I think is not scam, because owner put a lot of own money in to it, but this don't mean it would not fail.
