Kick here (and I guess also Thump) is way less interesting than WoW Kick. Spell school locks are way more interesting that just Stun/Silence.

It should be like this, when you go stealth in someone's visions range then instead of true invisibility you become camouflaged. People can still see where you are but can't target you with any single target or lock skill but they can just hit that are and will be able to hit you. But you you go stealth out of the visual range of someone or when they can't see you cus ur in the shadow or behind something, you go true invisibility and they can't see you at all, being true invisible also give you damage advantage on back stab.
Advanatage sounds like a bonus u get for first attack out of stealth hence why stealth gains advanatage so they combine skills like ambush and back stab together if we use WoW rogue as a reference
You may get an ulti skill that gives u an advanatage on button press with 30 sec CD or something but may be broken going stealth ambush advanatege+ other skill
One server gonna be dog shit imo with pirate software mega zerg 😛 and basicly 0 resources on the map due to perma harvesting

The confirmation of poison is such a weight off my shoulders being someone who wants grandmaster alchemy. My idea of an alchemist necromancer who focuses more on poisons is looking more and more of a possibility
They released rogue info to make the backlash for one server per region less vocal. Terrible…

Edit: Sounds like Thump is almost OP, but if they do it right, it will likely mean the rogue has about 5 seconds to kill it's target before we are destroyed in many cases. Surprise attacks are a must.
I love this version of stealth has it means we'll have to be more skillful with it in an ongoing fight, while also forcing us to be farther away if we want to sneak up on someone. It's very different than I'm used to, but I think it's a great balance for rogue so less people will instantly cry "OP, nerf rogue!" the moment they get backstabbed once. But, of course, this is going to happen anyway because that's the life of a rogue, because we require getting the drop on someone to have an advantage, when you actually get the drop on someone, they still cry. Even though, without the surprise attack, rogues have an extremely higher skill ceiling to win a fight compared to most other classes in general. (obviously we don't have all the details when it comes to AoC classes specifically since we don't even have all 8 classes yet, nor class combos)
Edit: With 20 yard range needed for stealth, it'll also be nice to see what the range is for Shadowstep.
And you thought resources – looking at you Copper – were hard to find before all the mega guilds (and whatever even larger term there is because mega doesn't quite describe Pirates) – just wait. The population is growing by much more than the map is. Call it good, call it bad, just don't call it boring 🙂
Only the best rogues know how to reset stealth properly in WoW, so that distance requirement to refresh it is perfect.
Only thing I might not like is the poison thing, which makes me thing it acts like combo, which I would rather be filled by using abilities.
Poison should be everyone's thing IMo, created by alchemy. You don't have to be rogue to coat your weapon in poison, right?
5s of silence is just wet dreams and will never go through live. I do like the idead of teleporting behind enemies.

Interested about the performance with the upcoming test. The playtest servers were almost unplayable for me in EU, while I had no issues in servers so far. There was so much lag, dsync, freezes, crashes, logouts
If they dont add an ability to charge ppl into that wall that the tank can pull up from the grounds its a misses oppertunity for an awsome interaction. Imagen it being a skillshot so you have to angel it right and you can catch anyone standing between you and the wall in a line.

The whole datamined kit seems like Intrepid took the Envenom Rogue from WoW's peak days and added it straight into the game. If they add a literal Envenom skill that works with a DoT Poison stack, we got a literal 1:1 translation.

I’ll give the game another shot when rogue drops as it’s my preferred archetype, but I just can’t make myself enjoy a tab target game that puts restrictions on world pvp. If others enjoy that type, so be it, but it’s not for me. I like full loot games, with unimpeded pvp. With actual player driven economies, where all the good gear is crafted, not bought, or received from drops. It already seems like a wow clone with extra “instanced” PvP in the form of events/node wars which will always incentivize zergs. I want a hardcore PvP game where the hardcore pvpers NEED to protect their crafters/pve’ers. Where all playstyles are required. Where clans/guild are forced to stay small, and use diplomacy, and politics with other small clans. SOMETIMES all falling under the same alliance due to political events. You know, player driven sandbox stuff.
WoW Rogue is best rogue, and from what I'm hearing is that it's a 1:1!

These are all pretty standard skills for a rogue in MMOs. The 20 meter requirement is interesting as I was never a fan of WoW's vanish simply because that made it way to easy to escape. The main question I have is whether or not Rogue stealth is infinite or does it have any sort of timer. If it is in fact an infinite ability, than yes, Rogues should do very well. This brings back feelings from my good old days in Dark Age of Camelot and stealth squads being used to maintain dominance at chokepoints.
Just waiting for the summoner hope they can pull it off and it not be passive playstyle
