A corruption development update from Intrepid would be dope. It'd put a lot of anxieties to rest.
If you're a PvEr, how do you feel about a game like this being built around these systems? If you hear a MMO has PvP are you still willing to try it?
Let's hope Ashes' design can make PvP a massive unifier instead of the afterthought time waster of MMOs of the past. And that Naval Combat doesn't suck.
I like to PVE with the looming danger of PVP. A part of what makes or breaks an MMO to me is this element. Seem-less PVP, I am not the type of player to go looking for PVP, I like to solo farm in MMO’s & build my wealth. I mostly avoid conflict but I do enjoy when people try to murder & rob me, it’s exhilarating & immersive.
I sure am curious to see how it will feel for the players who aren’t part of a massive guild. Hopefully there will be a solid LFG system to join groups for open world PvP content!
When I saw that dragon in this clip I thought that it would be super cool if it's an extremely rare mount that has an attack that deals huge aoe damage, has like 1hr or longer cooldown and can be used in PvP. So when you see it on the battleground you are like, oh shit they have a dragon, BUT some healing classes can have a barrier spell that can nullify part of this damage and your team needs to hide under it against the dragon. Would be so dope 😀
I really hope we hear some solid info the 16th
PvP is the reason I cannot be excited about this game. I hope it works out for the faithful.
