  1. So we are basically getting vending machines like in rust ALSO the amount of pre order excusive skins is getting ridiculous I think most people agree its so sad too see these cool looking mounts and pets knowing only a few people will ever have them

  2. Amazing video bro.But that COSMETIGEDDON really has me laughing till now. Yeah the licensing is cool. Bro it can also work like franchising a players shop. When a certain artisan reaches a certain level or obtains a certain title he can open branches of his shops in other nodes as well. There can also be a npc or an auction house where the players who have unlocked franchising can put up an auction. Any player who bids the best gets the license to run the shop of that player in that particular node and gain some xp and the rest goes to the main player. It will be kinda cool. And i totally agree with you about the shop skins. Players who max out their artisan should get a special skin for their shop. It would be kinda nice.

  3. I like the speculative videos as much as the "new info" ones. I think they give an instance to talk about what we, the players, want for the game. Maybe some of the ideas will reach the forums and then the creators. We don't know where or when a good idea will pop up, so we have to talk and make it happen 🙂 . 4. In Project Gorgon you can't open a shop until you either get 25 in Industry by fulfilling work orders and talking to an NPC or by giving that same NPC 20,000 councils (the currency of the world) to unlock Retail Management skill. Either way you're not starting it immediately and have to earn it, and you'll find 20k is quite a lot for a new player and it's mostly not worth it. Plus you can only have one open at a time which is setup and run through an NPC at the market.

On another note, I know I've said it before, to which you agreed, is that I wish on launch Intrepid/Steve would announce that all cosmetics are unlockable through gameplay and the cash shop is closed. They did say they don't need you to purchase the cosmetics and are simply there for you to show some extra support for the game. It's a compromise sure since they get the cosmetics (and the visual progression) without earning it in-game but I can live with it.

For example those shop outfits could be made with high-end Tailoring or something. We always see some basic cosmetic stuff like a pink dress or a top hat but imagine you could actually make some cool cosmetics with Tailoring such as a maid outfit.

Now we just need to hunt for that hidden village of Tulnar cat girls in the Underrealm. Or just make it ourselves 😛

P.S. Then again it's not likely since a lot of those pre-order packages includes cash shop funny money. I personally find these virtual tokens should be illegal as it's a psychological trick to suck money out of people but it's not happening any time soon.

  5. So instead of putting all my legendary dragon armour into a AH maybe ill spread my name with a shop….never really done anything like that in a MMO before! *Welcome to the Dragon and the Pheonix Arms*!

  6. Albion online had an interesting player business model. The only buildings in the game are crafting buildings. Crafting buildings are used to create everything in the game, from processing raw gatherables goods to crafting weapons, armor, and tools. The buildings are built and owned by players, and require some food when they are used, and tax the player when they are used. The tax was usually gets higher the closer you get to the center of the city. You could only buildings in the city tho, so idk what it would be like when your freehold is an operable business out in the map.

  7. It would be interesting if player shops and services appeared on your maps,
and also let players leave notes on their maps about each player shop location, and it's affiliation with nearby nodes or enemy guilds.
