Why did He / You as a member abuse the Guild Wars if you are highly against abusing a system in the game for advancement. It was obvious that was broken with the rewards etc.. to the point it was pointed out by Steven. So that is confusing to me. How do you just let that go to the side like we didn't do it. When that was the reason it was even noticed. Do you not consider that exploiting something that was abusing something obviously broken?

I really wish they'd done this alpha and roadmap differently.
At this rate the self proclaimed "big players" are going to be burnt out by the time the game actually releases leading to huge disparities on servers between who runs/owns stuff and who just plays the game until they inevitably get bored of being ran over constantly.
The dig at all the big guilds was great.

Even a great game can be ruined by the players. As much as I love MMO's I can't stand the people sometimes. Seems completely contradictory since an MMO is only an MMO because of all the players. Yet, here I am. Loving MMO's while disliking people, lol. Especially with how guilds and PvP will go.
Currently playing T&L and am in the top hardcore guild. I like being on top. We don't shit talk people and we are respectful, but…100% we gatekeep everything. Good luck ever getting a world or arch boss drop against us (when it's not a peace event). We completely dominate the server with our alliance. Casuals are essentially screwed out of content. Casuals will never win PvP events against us. Perhaps I'm part of the problem, but if I spend the time, do I not deserve to be on top? Of course the game is somewhat P2W, so I can't say those people deserve to be on top, but anyways…I see AOC having some issues like this. It will probably be great for people like me who want to be in a top guild, but what about others?
Yeah, the whole "this game isn't for those people then" is an argument one can make, but an MMO cannot survive without casuals. It's a simple fact.
Idk, I hope AOC is balanced. T&L numbers are doing the normal numbers drop off like most MMO's. It still has a lot of players (via steam) compared to FFXIV, ESO, New World, etc. but who knows how it will be in 6 months.
