  1. The naval wars and ships in general have peaked my interest! 🏴‍☠️

  2. I looked very much forward to AoC – until I learned about the combat system. Keeping paralell both an action combat system and a tab target system, and defaulting to the tab targeting system if they cannot balance it, seems to me to mean there will be a tab targeting system with a slight detour. Very disappointing that a game this groundbreaking is going back to grandma's tab-combat from the WoW alpha ca 2004.

  3. This is the number 1 MMORPG I am looking forward too, in the future! Hopefully it won't release untill 2022 or after! Intrepid just needs to continue to take its time & make a great game, PLEASE! Great Vid WolfheartFPS, keep up the great work! 😉

  4. My primary concern is raid loot. In WoW classic and other games the 95% of the time the loot is controlled by the raid leader/guild master. And 94% of the time loot distribution is completely corrupt.

  5. Interesting and been following it a bit. However CoE has completely turned me off to any kickstarter games, more so games they keep pushing pre-alpha 'packages' to gain more $$ before really proving they can release a game.

  6. What I'm clueless now is how will naval battle would turn out especially in a place with lots of ships. If there's a collider for the ships how will it affect ships that are congregating in a single spot? won't there be a problem happening from two or more ships getting stuck to each other?
If there's no collider for it and ships can pass through each other what happens to the players onboard on those ships? And I think it would be a clunky mess if ships pass through each other in a big scuffle

  7. I have played almost every MMO under the sun. I'm not feeling it.. You talk about not being crazy fantasy but meanwhile, in the background, you are flying on the back of a giant Butterfly-racoon.. To me it has that Asian mmo feel.. No ty.. Very GW2 like..

  8. I just hope they make the combat feel a little bit more fluid. I watched the boss battle and I wasn't really convinced about it. I know the game is still in development, but it just felt kinda clunky and with not enough abilities. When I play an mmorpg I expect to have 3 bar sets filled to the brim with skills, and I feel like this wasn't the case. Maybe it's just me though, coming from BDO combat to this. Does anyone feel the same tho? I'm interested in what's the current view on this 🙂

  9. Looks interesting. I'm still very much against a 40 men raiding environment though. I'm playing wow classic atm and 40 people are a nightmare to manage, especially after the hype dies down and less people play. Really hope they will change it

  10. Great video, keep up the good work you've definitely earned my subscription. Do you think it will take a while for nodes farther from the gates to be advanced? My guild wants to try to travel at the start of the game and carve out our own spot.

  11. One major issue I've had with Ashes so far is the addition of the cash shop. I've always felt that being able to buy cosmetic armors really takes away from the desire to obtain certain high level loot in the game. One interesting idea that they seem to have implemented is the purchase of mount "skins". I really like this concept and think it should be added to the cosmetic armor purchases. Instead of purchasing the armor outright, you can buy skins for armor that you have already obtained. This way you still need to achieve something before being able to buy a cosmetic item and at the same time, players will still be able to associate a cosmetic set to it's original armor set, which will still give you the "wow, I really want that armor" factor that is so prominent in older MMOs.
