  1. G'day mate, I took a look back through the stream videos from Narc, and you can see that on launch of phase 2, there were definitely no trees around the node. He traverses the map around Azmaran and it is indeed empty sand dunes with sprinkles of mob as per his video. I travelled there yesterday before server shut down and suddenly there were trees around the node. I also travelled to the area on the east side of the desert and found the same vast gaps of nothing but random mob. Nothing he has said is untrue because when he experienced it, that was true. It is unclear at what time the trees were introduced to the area, or whether it was in response to the criticisms in his stream or his video. Also in his stream he clearly explains when he has entered the desert expansion, which is the area promoted in phase 2 that expands on the desert biome he showcased in his original video where he flies through the desert biome. To say that he ignores the initial area is in itself disingenuous, as his discussion video talks about what was expected in the phase 2 launch, but not delivered, when the biome you refer to was present in phase 1.

  2. Hi should I join alpha in this 2nd phase state? Honestly I jumped into Throne and Liberty two months ago and game feels horrible due to bad fundamental mechanics and badly balanced pvp. After 2 months waiting for game to improve. …. being part of the way better looking game in alpha phase sounds okay 😀

  3. Boi the amount of cocksucking here is beyond milkyway lmao. No one is wondering why Steven so salty if he knows Narc is wrong, and Steven out there gaslighting people when he doesnt even have a third of a videogame in hand. But what can you expect from people when they still getting scammed by cripto scamms out there 😂

  4. I've literally never heard of this game till the other day and now, after watching Narc's video, YT decided to send me a daily video about this whole controversy about it. It looks freakin cool tbh, I'm hoping that it eventually gets released.. good video btw, pretty funny and down to earth.

  5. Very well put!
I've been following this project on and off since it was announced. And the progress in the past year or 2 has me more hopeful than before.
I haven't bought into the alpha and I'm not sure if I even will yet.
But I really hope they manage to reach their goals one way or another, because AoC has the chance to be a truly special game for me.

  6. Aight aight. You cut down those ash trees near node. But real talk, I feel like those ash trees are intentionally placed far below ground to be partial cover for node wars. Thoughts?

  7. This is one big circle of misrepresentation lol.

Narc was talking about the expansion, not the old desert oasis. So why are you showing that?
He was comparing the expectation that was sold vs the expansion received.

Yet here you are showing this clip as if this is what he was talking about. 2:08

  8. Narc is a bald piece of an art, by art, I mean hypothetically, you can switch art with a S then a H, followed by an I, ending with a T, its enough to give you context to his rage bait videos

  9. While I don't agree with what Narc tried to do, I think the key word in his video for desert is expansion. He wanted to say that the added stuff in p2 is only copy pasted nodes and empty sand. On the other hand, most people will not understand what he wanted to say, they will think that's the whole dessert what he showed and therefore this is misleading and defamatory. I was also expecting a bigger dessert map in p2. The 3 nodes added are obviously not done and are not the right size compared to other nodes, but I know this is alpha, I know it takes time, and it will be done at some point. There is no point of attacking and calling the devs liars because of having bigger expectations.

  10. To me both Narc and Steven are been disingenuous
Steven by not speaking on the edge of the map and simply just saying its in development instead he avoided completely
    and
Narc by not showing the developed side and stating his concerns about why he feels he was lied to when part of the node is "incomplete"

Steven been a great Sales man naturally is good at selling you a product by simply avoiding a response to claims made to me that's something Narc needs to learn from.

I myself am in the process of studying these market strategies and how to implement then myself in future projects ..

  11. Now that you said it i find it unacceptable for the ocean to have so much water. Lets all band together and protest in every city! Let's protest against the water in the ocean! Who is with me? 😂

  12. Bahhahaha. You just earned yourself another subscriber. And honestly agree with your points. I understand the frustration at the same time, the escalation wasn't needed. But alias, time will tell once the game is ready. But definetly gonna check it out during May.

  13. yeah duh marathon, but i wont be alive to play its release in 15 years, not with my health problems :s thankfuly im rather resistant to hype more or less so i didnt spend idk how much just to never play it 😀

  14. I think the key difference in frustration level is based on how long you’ve been following the game. If alpha 2 is your starting point this is great for an alpha. If you played and followed since alpha 1, it’s in a very similar state, four years later.

  15. Great video. Unfortunately when you pay for an ashes package – one is entitled to expect some level of fidelity from Steven. I think he should have prefaced that alpha 2 phase 2 zones were a work in progress and that limited servers would equate to limited folks playing on those servers at the start. Case in point, I still cannot log in as a kickstarter. I caution against using the term mental health. IF this game is going to be toxic, then Intrepid should not ban players or lock their critical comments about over-hyping the game – or is this comparing apples and oranges? I agree, don't get too personally involved in the game during development. Best regards, Skaff.
