They absolutely DO have something to prove! People who play RPGs and MMOs as have been living off scraps for years now. These guys only have one chance for this to come out properly and have a positive impact.
We are not getting rogue P2 it's confirmed by Steven. The archetype development team was moved to fix current issues. My guess is that we get both rogue and summoner sometime in P3.
You should not be rolling greed for gear you need. If you need the gear, roll need. That is why it is called "need".
If you do not need the gear, roll greed or pass, depending on your goals and group policy.
I feel that a couple of the purposes for the wipe are that the characters outgrew the testing focus areas and the differential in the levels across the server.
I do understand the flagging for pvp under 5, but they have to leave the safe zone eventually. I see groups just waiting outside the zone for free kills. They just have to rabdomize abd spread out the targets to avoid being labeled harassment.
Starter zone: Make it on the Sanctus side of the portal, without PVP, and have a quick tutorial to introduce basic controls and give time to set keybinds and such. As soon as the player is comfortable, they can walk through the portal and join the world. Epic lore-based experience, and much more control over it. (Tulnar can start in an underrealm cave system that does the same thing, exiting the cave and popping up near whichever portal they choose)
Along with several content creators making content about Ashes of Creation, I've enjoyed your videos because I've learned from/given thought to things discussed in them. There have been ingredients of critical thought, impartiality, as well as opinion.
Why complain about drop rate? U guy's never played a hard core mmorpg where u killed 10k moobs still didn't get crap 😂😂😂 this modern mmos made you lazy cuz they throw everything at you just for u to hit max lvl and than quite in a year or so the fact that drop rate is low is good since the items than also have more value in long run and it's not flooded by items and ppl have to actually play the game maybe I'm to olr school but this nee era mmos are generic and don't last long because it's to fast and to little to do they limit you in one way or another…
FYI, the drop rates are much higher than intended right now because Artisan is lagging behind. They're supposed to be very rare, and crafting is the main source of gear (as it should be, since literally every system in the game revolves around ressources/movement/stations location/caravan and other pvp).
I'm very happy to see the patch notes and the improvements Intrepid has made so far. I'm not too upset about the wipe. Knew this was coming, and there will be more. I'm just here to help Ashes grow and have fun doing it. Keep up the good work, Que.
