If they deliver with the node system ashes will truly have more content then the top 3 mmos combined. Always have something to do that isnt mindless grinding mobs or a semi useless crafting system
The most incentivization for socialization out of any game that I have ever seen. A true MMORPG!

Personally I disagree with getting to see the village transforming into a town this early, they should keep things like that a surprise for when we actually play the game. After putting some work into gathering the materials it will be a nice little reward to see it for the first time.
They shouldn't show too much , like revealing the entire map and all the biomes. I want to explore and see things for the first time, which is why I play MMOS, for the exploration and creating memories with friends.
What I do want to see is more PVP! They should do a stream with nothing but duels and PVP content

It wasn't the AoC update of the year, it was the GOAT.
The main aspect I'm excited about, is that this showcase in particular emphasized the importance of socializing and community building. What I heard throughout the stream was the importance of interactions between mayors and citizens, nodes and neighbour nodes, parent nodes and ZOI nodes, guilds and guild hall nodes, trade partner nodes in other ZOIs and on and on. Especially one thing stood out for me. It seems like, nodes can serve as an actual point of connection between casuals and NoLifers, between PvPers and PvErs, because the biggest and sweatiest guilds NEED a strong parent node, which NEEDS a strong ZOI, which NEEDS good relations to their subnodes and the whole system NEEDS tons of people(casuals included) to work. Many MMO's tout that they are suited for hardcore gamers and casuals alike, but the node system really gives an incentive to form a community between all the player factions.

Good summary. I was genuinely entertained during the entire steam and wished it could have been longer. If they had made an announcement at the end of the stream or if SS had leaked some major info, all of YT this morning would be burning. I can't see, at this point, A2 until mid 2024 at the earliest. There's at least 12 mentioned updates streams that will come before the launch of A2, but Margaret said not "years", so if that can be taken literally, the launch of A2 will be before mid 2025.
