  1. Honestly with the new UE5 i think the game will improve more so in the back end and im glad they did the change but with the movment things, mounting up ledges i hope lets say if your sprinting you jump up and do a little roll or slide to keep that momentum up other wise it will feel so bad during pvp/combat and would also be nice if you press crouch while sprinting you do a slide so you can get into those small "tunnels" with out it feeling slow.

  2. I honestly do not think you explained the benefits of UE5 very well… to the point that you are incorrect. Sigh…. And the proper explanation is actually much more positive (at least from a developer – or production team point of view). Do a comparison of how actors are managed between UE4 and UE5 – that is a huge benefit for teams. Also, when talking about nanites, this only matters for static content… which EXcludes things like vegetation. Basically we are talking about buildings and rocks… a bit more than that… but those are best simple examples. Also, meshes need to be optimised so the UE5 initial demo is kind of deceptive… but does in truth act as you presented, depending on what is required at a given rendering/view. – But please… don’t take this as a negative criticism… just wanted to point this out for better clarification if not incredibly simple. There are devs and artists out there that can give you much better explanations or more depth… and I didn’t even touch blueprints 🙁

  3. as a developer using UE5, nanite if anything will improve low end pc's performance.

Lumen will deffinitely fuck up low end pc's, theres configerable values so you can min max for different pcs.

thats my 2 cents as a dev using it 🙂
