  1. i really like the balance theyve struck with darkness for night time. i personally like very dark nights. always been a fan of having to be extra cautious, using your knowledge of the area to get around safely.

  2. its almost shocking how much progress they made in terms of lightning.

    People spammed +trust in chat the whole time and i would say the same if my trust level wasnt already on overload.

    The night looks absoulutly stunning that way they nailed it

The more i see of Ashes, the more i hope Devs move toward a trade offs style of character building so you can build anything from a Slow moving, High resistance, Massive health pool tank on a fighter base, a Dodge/Interrupt/DPS threat generator tank on a ranger or rogue template, a tank that can summon different kinds of armor/resist/threatpet builds on a summoner or mage base etc. If they get the combination of skill tree/Class combination/weapon skill/organisation affiliation right a meta of `what works best for me` might be one step closer to reality. Im too old and slow to be more than a speed bump in PvP, but i would love to build a nearly un-ccable, fast as a cheetah sneaky little gatherer that can smuggle a packload of near anything anywhere because i can run away better than anyone.

I love the new night sky! kinda wish they would add small light animations around the spells. like when he cast fireballs or use his fire wand the "fire" it doesnt give of any light which makes it seem a bit unrealistic, and seeing is it was realistic they wanted.. Even the lightning bolt and lightningball should give of some flicker of illumination imo šŸ™‚

  8. Showing off the Bard in the next few months. That is the start of q3! So that puts us into August or September before Alpha 2 starts! My guess is September 30…the beginning of Alpha2

  9. I'm only posting here because i know Steven watches your videos Narc, can we possibly see an over the shoulder camera setting? Or atleast sliders that let us set the position of our camera relative to the player?

  11. I assume that they have yet to turn on lighting for the magic? Let my fucking flames actually emit light and have illumination magic to help fucking see or something? Magic needs lights and reflections and haze/smoke/etc?
