Ashes of Creation: is weather a waste of dev time?

Read more about Ashes of Creation ➜ https://ashesofcreation.mgn.tv

in this Ashes of Creation Video I talk about the Weather system and if it is just a over glorified gimmick or if it has some weight to it. some people complain that the devs of this MMO need to put recourses into other more important areas, but I disagree. I defend the weather system in this YouTube video.

  1. I bought Alpha 2 about a year ago.
Going to buy a new computer to accommodate it at 100%.
If Ashes fails, then mmo's are done.
I was there from the beginning to the end.

  2. I think another people don't think about is that the weather system was always meant to be an integral part of the game. Even back in the kickstarter it was announced to be a thing. Plus in unreal engine 4 they had a weather system. They even showed on their Instagram the improvements it got from going to unreal engine 5.

Everyone keeps talking about combat this and that. At the same time they ignore little teasers and hints, and even ignore the fact Steven said he moved the dev update to the 30th to try to have combat at a state he feels is ready to be shown. There's no way in a month intrepid managed to change up their combat in a month. So people should take a step back and think "wow, they can develop multiple parts of the game at one time 😱" even though that was one of the biggest points to going to UE5 is allowing them to do multiple things at once with multiple devices helping each other at the same time 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
