  1. This is the main problem with MMO genre, wow is being marketed under Mmorpg, but it is theme park mmorpg, this is what content creators should fight and spread information as why companies should divide theme park mmos and true rpg mmos…

  2. It was never going yo be. Ashes is going to be a niche game with open workd pvp, forced group content, and limited quality of life aspects. WoW is for a mass audience where Ashes is looking to use aspects of the games from the past.

  7. I'm glad a content creator puts information like this out there. In all reality aoc is catering to semi-hardcore/hardcore audiences without it being a completely toxic gankfest. Plenty of MMOs cater towards casuals – WoW, FF, ashes is going to have it's own Niche. P.S. I really do think that feeling will be recaptured by having all the content in the open world, I personally think this is a big part of what ruins immersions in current MMORPGs, the open world been nothing and all the content being instanced.

  8. I Truly can't wait to play AOC even though I don't have any friends to play with which means it's going to be a bit hard to find a good guild to enjoy the game!

    But Millions? Absolutely not… AOC is going to be on the harder difficulty for the average gamer (hopefully). Millions will join at the games launch but realistically after 3 months or so the numbers will be maybe at 250K and I would be happy with that. Maybe more will stay but that will only last until Riot MMO launches which is 99% going to be another Themepark game that caters to all casuals like WOW and thus all WOW refugees are going to jump ship from either WOW or AOC to play on Riots MMO! The millions you say can't realistically happen mainly because the majority of that number is going to be casuals with maybe 2 hours to play a day as you said in the video thus not having any time to progress into AOC!
