I do want to give the poster some credit for at least not trying to get you canceled. That said, I really don't understand why people feel the need to get upset about this kind of thing. As someone who is autistic, the use of the r-word is a bit of a touchy subject for me. I don't use it personally, however, as long as it's not used in a way which dehumanizes an individual, I don't really have an issue with it apart from cringing a bit as it is outdated in certain parts of the world. What neurotypical people who attack the use of the r-word fail to understand, is that doing so reinforces the connection between the word and those on the spectrum. The term has evolved past being used to describe atypical individuals and is now used to describe things such as terrible idiotic takes.
