  1. thank you so much for explaining the pvp flagging system in detail. it can be confusion to us pve noobs out there! I totally understand their risk vrs reward mentality but from what i am hearing so far i feel the penalties are to steep right now. I bet during testing they decide to tone it down a bit.

  2. LOL. So .. did we forget things like "retribution" or.. reverse damage scenarios.. shields.. or the many dozens of ways that PK's will figure out how to get you flagged? Please 🙂 You know how this goes… wiping guys at the big boss battles, loot time, whatever. This isnt new stuff… and no.. you cant ever balance it both ways when playing the victim for those that see you as the best loot potential in the game. There is no "you just got pkd" bonus to getting resources… Because the fact is, they dont want to balance things like that, or "you left the area you got pkd in" all resource gathering gives you a bonus for this period of time". Because 1, they are not that smart, and 2, They dont want balance. They want victims. But yeah.. its very funnily similar to what game? Oh yeah.. the best of UO with the worst pair up of skill/gear/exp Deficits EVER imagined. Sorry man..very sorry, but.. this is going to flop as a "come one come all" to any but those interested in constantly having to drag themselves out of the muddy world, that is ashes.

  3. I love PvP more than anything, but I can see the frustration with 'no chill' opportunities. Going solo, huge risk. Going AFK, huge risk. It's going to require all of us to change how we play MMOs.

  4. I have a Feeling this will be a big Invitation to a giant Gank-Party with much Frustration. In which World would it be a great Idea to make People which are running a Dungeon and are about to Fight a Dungeon-Boss vulnerable to other Players/Player-Groups? I can understand that in Case of Open World-Bosses but while Dungeon-Runs? That will cause so much Frustration.. They really have to make a huge penalty-Mechanic for Players which are killing others often, otherwise it will be Chaos all over the Place i think.
