hmm, do you think there is any hope of them hiding the mobs nameplates when they're hiding ?
Very cool idea.
A pile of sticks or brush could transform and attack. A crystal or a mining node could get upset if you hit it with a pick ax. An entire hill could suddenly start moving as an earth elemental or troll stands up. Sandpits could be the mouth of a monster. A really hard jumping puzzle could have something at the top that you activate and turns out you just spent ten minutes jumping on a world boss, only to wake it up.
really hope they become clickable entities only when they start moving/attacking.
A fire elemental emerges from the bubbling lava stream! The Roc swoops down on you from the sky! A swarm of plague rats swarm out of the walls and ambush you! The pile of scrap reanimates itself into an ancient automaton!
Yes, treants/ents would be amazing while you're out trying to lumberjack your little heart out.
A long time ago I played à game call Dofus , while farming you could get agro by a mob based on that ressource , it could be a challenge be the reward was worth it.
In AoC it could be a great treat if someone is going to gank on you.
A small island that turns into a giant sea monster.
