  3. Yeah, all these people, who say Ashes of Creation has pivoted, obviously never actually paid attention to what was said, but instead are relying on lies they were told by people they trusted.
    So far NORHING that has come out has surprised me. As a matter of fact it's nice to see all the systems integrate with each other using the same risk/reward mechanics and "use" limited by effort put in.

    BUT most likely people are conflating two ideas. The first one being that Steven said factually a few times, "Everyone that wants housing will have housing, it's fundamental to node participation." And the second one being, that everyone assumed all housing types would be unlimited. That second idea is stupid to the max. Even Ultima Online didn't have "unlimited" housing. Even with a huge map, there are limits. So it's a "self own" lie they've told themselves and conflated with the first idea.

  5. Totally right as usual. I've watched a lot of their original information here recently, especially due to so much misinformation going around or misunderstandings. They've stayed consistent as far as I've seen with most information. They were definitely more vague near the beginning of course, when I saw they were going to have large servers I felt it was obvious they couldn't have thousands upon thousands of player housing around without there being some kind of limit it would get ridiculous haha.

  7. Another thing to point out…. Initially there will be NO Freeholds. Nodes have to get up to level 3 before they become available. The first housing will be instanced apartments only. LOL

  8. I don't think the all of the people that were upset about the freeholds were necessarily complaining about them being limited. I think it was more of the manner of how to obtain one, the fact that you had to bid for them being to main reason. The guilds would just have a whip round so to speak and just outbid everyone and I think that upset some people. I do think that when Steven came out after the livestream and gave a much more in depth explanation of the freeholds that most people were ok with it as they had much more information. I also think that Steven made the right choice to offer embers for freehold skins people have paid for.

  9. 2025 – 2030? When? I really don't get the hype for game that will not come for around another 5 more years by scamming players to ask 250 dollar etc money amount to get in Alpha stages lol… For every small detail recently, every streamer makes AoC videos for months already. I am not hype until I see the actual real in gameplay – not this pre-defined video scenarios. The game looks like still in pre-Alpha state really… Most of the subjects thy have promised are not in the game still and the combat is not so impressive at all – it has no feeling or enjoyment at all as visuals and as gameplay. Even Archeage, Lineage 2 or even Aion tab-target gameplay is better than current Ashes of Creation combat… AoC combat looks similar to Throne and Liberty as tab target.

  10. I was thinking it was people who casually followed and saw or bought a cosmetic pack. They thought they would get a house with it. I do think the store should be more clear about what you get. Something like "The cosmetics are skins only, an equivalent item must be achieved in game to use" at the top.

  13. This game is nothing but a game. Have you seen a real gameplay ?
    I mean from character creation to some quests or world boss ? Nope ! I mean someone launching the game and playing like… a real game ?
    We just have seen scripted videos on dev area. It's just some clips
    Nothing more and next month we will see the cleric killing some stupid creeps on the same dev area and people will be amazed like they are for 7 years now

  14. People would rather complain with no evidence then put in effort like you did to find out what really is going on. I think they have stayed with the core pillars of this game.
