  1. The fact this Guy calls people that play PVE in MMOS care bears tells u he is the type of guy just going around killing people to make them rage quit while they are just cutting down trees

  2. The original video itself, sawman is very defensive on his pinned comment. Like, actually being childish. That alone shows you how insecure this man is and attacking lucky ghost instead of giving valuable criticism

  3. The argument for "one community" is absurd. There are gonna be servers, you are NEVER going to see people in the other servers, why you care the other server is PvE? Simple, because the only thing you want, is more people in your server you can murder if you want. Go back to your niche community of pvp griefers that try to force everyone to play what you want.

People like AoC aesthetic, the combat, the node system, the gathering and build cities, the world changing, etc. and they dont like open pvp because it makes the game small by excluding a lot of player who don't like it. If AoC became huge, is because they will add PvE servers, exactly the same as others but with open PvP disabled. Why they will not do it and instead having 4 only PvP servers to have 15 servers, 2 PvP and 13 PvE, is absurd.

  4. Should be able to just turn off pvp in open world. Not everyone wants to pvp to go from point a to point b. Makes it very boring to die and die over and over again example is wow classic when pvp ranks were instated.

  5. I don't like PvP at all, it's too intensive for me if I do it for longer periods of time. However I am now so indulged in Stephens vision that it feels like if I don't get to play pve with pve players on a PvP server that work like Stephen envisions it, I will lose all interest in the game.
So no, I hope they don't release pve servers. I want to learn how to survive in AoC without the temptation to just switch over to mindless mode, because that is what I and many others I want to play this game with will do, and we will quit within the first month, just like we always tend to do.

So I agree with him saying it would be a separation of the community, even if we don't play on the same servers and live in different places of the world.
When there is PvX servers only, the developers have to make the PvX gameplay work as intended.

  6. This video also felt so much like personal attacks against the YouTuber than him having a debate. He showed arguments that Asmon proved that aren't fully given, like the population of the MMO he presented like a good example, indirectly called the YouTuber a "PvE Carebear", started making fun of the way the guy talked and even attacked him for doing the sponsor.

This is definitely not a professional way to do a debate and made seem like he was personally attacked and wanted to make fun of he guy to lower the credibility of his arguments

  7. Easy solution for pvp, have world events where players can start a battle ground in the open probably in certain areas only, anyone who wanders in can begin to fight maybe the more people in the area fight increases the size of an area. I reckon you could see some all out wars.

  8. That video was such a fcking bad take.
The guy didn't have a single good counter argument.
The whole video was just him saying "that's wrong" without giving a good explanation as to why that is or just saying various insults.

Also who doesn't understand the concept of a sponsorship? People don't advertise Raid because it is fun.

  9. 3 minutes in and I can tell that the guy who made the video is an idiot who never even watched the video he's reacting to. The original video pointed out several times that AoC's PvP system is ripped almost directly off of another game. A game that the guy in the original video has played before. So shutting down his opinions because he "hasn't played this PvP system because AoC isn't out" invalidates the rest of the reactor's video.

  11. You know what's insane…when people talk about pvp they just casually leave Warhammer online out of the conversation, when from my experience it was and is the best PVP experience of all time….fight me.

You choose to enter pvp in Warhammer it wasn't thrown on you. Sadly the PVE was lacking so most did PVP which was the core of the game and right now on the private server it feels like that game should have been released NOW!!!

  12. This is going to be an interesting outcome. All you need to do is look at current games with PvP in them. Wow is a great example. Of people these days not liking to be forced into PvP situations. People don’t want to be bullied by online losers. That get satisfaction out of corpse camping other players. People value their time/min max now. It’s not about fun or the journey unfortunately. People coming up with boosting methods. Other games implementing paid character max lvl boosts. I’m not saying people current approach for mmos are healthy for mmos. It’s just how people have changed in the last 15 years. No patience anymore, people have this need for instant gratification these days. Wow had PvP servers in classic. Super servers would eventually become one sided and then be completely dominated by one faction. Because people these days have no care respect or consideration for others. In 2009, people tanked each other. But it wasn’t for hours on end. You wouldn’t get some twit falling you around till you had to log off. Because there was literally nothing you could do. I remember getting ganked tons of time back in the day. Then the player comes up waves laughs said sorry and leaves you alone. I even have on a number of occasions the other faction even help you. Now players on the same faction grief you and steal your mobs or nodes quest spawns. Players will stand there and watch you die. Take the quest they need and run. Instead of inviting and both getting it. People rather make other lives harder than show any kind of help or compassion

  13. I think there is a point to be made about pvp primary content being focused on. The problem with this however is always longevity of the game itself. Tarkov right now as a game is great. You know what isnt? Being domed by a fully kitted Tier 5 armor 4 man squad 2 weeks into wipe. I dont care really if someone kills my scav, I move on and do my thing as long as they leave me alive. But PVP and the loadtimes? That just makes for a crap system. Which is also why I stopped playing Tarkov.
