If we get a updates spell mechanics next update we might also get at east a partial combat update as well. The two do kind of Go hand in hand.
This months stream was awesome. My guess is every month will be amazing for awhile. They are gearing up for an A2 announcement and will want to keep the hype train running. I don't think it's an accident that we are getting amazing content after a long drought. This is being driven by a larger marketing narrative. Also development isn't linear. If it took 3 months to do a biome the next biome will take significantly less. We are much much closer to A2 than folks think. I have been beating that drum for awhile now, the foundation takes the longest time.

I've backed one kickerstater game in my life and chose Ashes of Creation to be that game. Backed it at the braver of worlds level ($435) I'm not a rich man so I was really hesitant but that lifetime sub that comes with the pack is starting to look like a solid investment.
If this one isn't good, then I'm sure the Riot one will be. They look like they're doing pretty well though.

I want the half-baked progress. I want to see that they have objectively improved since Alpha 1's gameplay. Yes, I want to see unfinished alpha-prefaced half-assery. That will at least let me gauge how far they've come and then extrapolate in my mind realistically what the finished version will be like. If I have to wait years to see more gameplay, then my expectations will be over blown to the stratosphere, and I'll inevitably be disappointed. Can you please explain to me why letting me see this work-in-progress would hurt your experience later when the polished version is completed and shown?

I’m impressed with the weather mechanics. I look forward to seeing the effects. So far I’ve consistently felt the effects are too bright and too colorful. I hope the final pass dials then back or adds some transparency to everything.

As a develope people havent a clue on how hard it is to make a game .period…in the life cycly of a game development 5-10 years you will loose half your staff it just changes .plus the stressers in a studio there is allways a divorce or 3 atleast 2 deaths …4 births ect …..people just assume we go in and fart out magic.our industry NEEDS unionization before there isnt anyone left …studios are loosing ppl in huge numbers as of the last 6 years ….and alot of the devs no longer want to make games …OUR CURRENT STATE shows this amazingly well …no western titles , the rehashing of what they have alredy made and can make content on a skelliton crew….WILL BE MORE OF THE SAME till the industry changes….sad

Honestly, if it's fully funded, and has been fully funded for a while, I'd rather they just stop showing anything and dedicate the entirety of their focus to working towards release.
