  1. UPDATE: Those that buy Alpha packages WILL receive subsequent beta access. You will not lose access!

  2. Safe bet the cosmetics shops will be $5 for accessories, $15 per pet, $20 per mount, $25 per costume, transport, freehold skin since thats what there rpiced as with the old preorder bundles

Roadmaps/dates for development is basicly double the time they say it will take and thats more accurate 😛

my theory of the weekend testing is basicly they hit the hiccup during the PI/A1 testing and it taking longer than expected to fix server stability issue that they didnt wanna delay alpha 2 again so they just made phase 1 basicly the same thing as PI/A1 testers and phase 2 is probaly the point they wanted to start A2 at but the hiccup pushed it back to december 😛

As for length steven said it atleast 12 months of A2 i dont think they said from what phase but community keeps saying atleast 12 months from phase 3

  3. I feel zero about this game, always have, it’s always seemed to me as being peak mid. Glad people are testing it more and publicly so we can actually see, you know, what the game will eventually be lmao

  4. 250 Dollars to acess an alpha on a game that might never release aint acceptable in any way. And the ingame stuff dont matter if the game dont release. Alpha and Beta is for testing then u can charge money!

  5. Actually, other games have charged for people to test games in Alpha. SOE, for "Landmark". FlipSwitch Games, for "War of the Worlds". Void Interactive, for "Ready or Not". I'm sure there are more examples. Granted, charging for Alpha may not be common. But, it's not new, or some isolated incident, that started with Intrepid. Just wanted to throw that out there.

  6. I think one of the reasons for only weekends to begin with, is also to save on time and resources spent on keeping up with live issues when it is in the most broken/unstable state. There are going to be a lot of issues, which are much more manageable to deal with when they can take the servers down for 5 days, investigate and fix during the week without the same pressure of people complaining, and also keeping players from putting all their time into this unstable period(phase 1).

It would be in a lot of ways a waste of both money and time to have to deal with servers going down, really bad exploits and bugs in a 24/7 environment. It's too bad they made a lot of promises early without thinking it through, but here we are

  7. It's been stated that Alpha 2 is going to last at least a year. But, even if we disregarded that, there are other things that point to the game still being far from launch. The Rogue class won't come out till Alpha 2-Phase 2 (around December), and the Summoner in Phase 3 (around May 2025). And, then Intrepid still has to flesh out the class combinations (64 in total). Node mechanics still have to be completed. The Underrealm…monster coin…dynamic events… There's still a lot to develop, iterate, polish… lol

And, unless Intrepid has changed something, the content that testers will experience in Alpha will not be the same content in the official game, upon launch. Precisely for the reason concerning spoiling the game. This was stated a good while back, and I can only hope that it still remains true.

  8. When they announced they would stop selling packs, people asked for them to extend the time they would be selling them. Before they stopped selling the packs people were asking if there would still be a way to get access later. They said there may be. Now that it’s here people are up in arms. There have been stumbles in rolling this out, admittedly, but people asked for this and now they’re shocked by it.

  9. The only reason they donig week end testing is cos they are late on schedule. And they'll keep being late.
How can you say "I have friends in the gaming industry it's a sh*t show, dates don't hold up" but then state that Ashes can push to 1.0 in one year, considering what they showed that's beyond stupid.
I beg you name one game that made significant improvements and went from alpha to 1.0 in a single year pls.
I can give you 15 games that released early access in alpha state with no nda and stayed there for 5+ years.
