What is Ashes of Creation?
Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMO experience. Our world structure is dynamic and built to react to the actions of our players. Cities will rise and fall, their populations based on the history of the world as the players create it. Quests will unlock as these populations gather, their needs grow, and secrets are unlocked. As the world’s NPC structure is established in real time, players will have the ability to destroy what they’ve created, paving the way for new development, new populations, and real change. Political strife and intrigue will play a very real role in the structure of your world. Gone are the days of static worlds, change is here to stay.
Risk Vs Reward
All across Verra, you have the opportunity to experience massive warfare, participate in epic trade caravans, and gather valuable components to craft exquisite items. Not only will your fellow players be your adversaries; the creatures of the land and the very environment itself will pose a constant and fresh challenge. Will you siege castles to become royalty, defeat other guilds to showcase your prowess, shape the marketplace by being a successful trader, or earn renown by developing your artisan crafting skills? This is your story, you tell us!

Would you want Ashes of Creation to be rated M for Mature? If so, what would you want to see and what would you wouldn't want to see them do? Post your thoughts below!
People that want that kind of game play ff14 with mods…
I think the choices we make in game will make the game feel more mature or more adolescent & I believe that's the closest we'll get to an M rating.
I'd like to see the game offer both, have it be a setting you click in the beginning of Character Creation.
Maturity rating is not important to me. What Ashes clearly lacks is testosterone in its design, especially when it comes to armor and models.
Everyone are so lanky with no posturing to them. Thats why I think Vek are the best race so far in the game. They have their signature hunched posture and it gives them character.
Look at Wow, if you shown only a silluoette of the races you would know which one is which by its size, posture and muscles. I dont see that in AoC and it worries me, because it feels that game lacks identity.
Mood in the game is also weird. Every zone feels like utopia-Even deserts. There is no sense of danger in any of them. Grey skies, sandstorms, heavy rain, blizzard-I NEED to see that. Everything is so Disney so far.
GW2 is a prime example of what you're talking about
Blood would be an obvious one. Not just as you hit something, but on clothes too.
Executes maybe? For Honor style.
"Ashes of Creation Should Be a Mature Rated MMORPG" – There fixed it for you. 😀
Whatever rating the go for, I dont care as long they show me some areas and moods that aren't sunshine and rainbows. So far, everything shown so far was idyllic forest or a winterscape. Their world is not believable to me.
More Game of Thrones, less Chronicles of Narnia please, with a hint of Elden Ring on the side. Thanks Intrepid.
