  1. Do you guys think ashes will ever get a trailer ? Like a cinematic to advertise the game like wow does ? I found the game thru Asmongold and others reacting to it. It would push the game massively if they made an epic trailer

  2. Hey guys.

    A couple things:

CCs in ESO as with everything else is, is a predictable rotation due to GCD.
In AoC skills will have individual cooldowns and so CCing will be more skilled based. You will have to use them at the right time.
As for chain stunning… I think people place to much value on their little selves, or they are not used to proper mmps in which group effort is required.
In group v group there is no such thing as stunchaining. It's a recipe for defeat. If you waste all your groups CC on 1 target the rest of his group will wipe the floor with you.

    The other thing. 1vX.
In reality this is 1v2 for the average good player and mb a 1v5 for the extremelly good player with the strongest class and a bit of luck in not being countered.
Why? Because in proper mmos you will face enemies of similar level and similar gear.

In ESO you had a tiny patch of land welcoming all levels of people to fight aimlessly.
This meant veteran players vs random assortments, in level, gear settup, experience.

ESO made many mistakes in trying to be an mmo. The combat may have been adrenaline pumping, and the game offered PvP avenues but I wouldnt take anything from there to compare it with mmo gameplay and playstyle

  3. Thank you for informing and championing the nuanced PvP and Corruption systems in Ashes. Players worried about ganking and PKing in Ashes are unaware of or don't understand the details of the system designed to make player conflict exciting, viable, but also structured and controlled.
