The thing is.. BDO was actuall a innovative work of art. A completely new engine, a new approach to combat in MMOs, new systems that we've never seen before (albeit, some are really, really bad), at least they tried… I see AOC just being a pure WoW clone, but a bit prettier. God i wish PA gets their crap together and gives us some real, meaningful content and stops breaking the game.

I think the reason why it took them so long to get here is because it literally WAS a scam, but they got so much money out from it that they actually decided to deliver something. This btw looks horrible, I have no clue why people are excited for this. It looks really bad. Remember Bless Unleashed, the ultimate scam cash-grab that everybody hated? That game had a better dragon world boss fight than this crap lol
Hey Blue, I really like your content, but maybe try not to spread so much misinformation. Don’t get me wrong every MMO needs content creators like you, being loud critics and pointing out when something's wrong, and I don't want to defend this greedy alpha key business at all. However, they specifically stated in the stream you watched about the keys that you only need to buy one key at any time to play all three phases of Alpha 2. The different keys are just there for purchase if you missed out on, say, Phase 1, and you can buy Phase 2 keys right before Phase 2 starts. And no, I haven’t spent a dime on this game, nor am I a white knight defending my holy, never-existing maid.
Farming content about this key situation is fine and needed, but at least stick to the truth. Also, that "Ashes of Never Being Created" meme is fire, but after hearing it 20 times in a row, it gets a bit old. And I'm not sure what was up with that Dei comment it seemed unnecessary, in my opinion. But overall, nice reaction and good feedback at the end. That’s exactly why they’re running such an open development. Keep it up, Blue. No hate, just constructive feedback!
I wonder what BDO looked like in Alpha 2. Probably something like Minecraft/mixed with EverQuest, let’s give these guys the benefit of the doubt, lol.

Why all this hate ??? Being critical of questionable practices (FOMO monetization, for example) or undesirable developments in game production is all good and correct, but Blue and his community simply have a blind hate for Ashes.
And no, I didn't buy an Alpha 1 or 2 key. It's too expensive for me and I don't pay money to test something for other people. But it's ridiculous how you're using this to avoid any criticism of your stance on Ashes.
They don't even understand the video they're watching. They think it's a dungeon with a raid boss. They ignore or don't know that this is an open world event that is triggered depending on the level of the nearby nodes and in turn triggers other events and quests afterwards in the whole area. Additionally, since every loot in the game world is shared loot (This means that not everyone gets their own loot, but has to fight for loot rights) and open PvP with a karma system like in BDO is possible, an enemy raid could come, kill you and steal your loot from dragons during the entire fight. The entire game is systemically designed for dynamic PvPvE content with the basic concept of risk vs. reward. You only have to take a quick look at the systems of Ashes and you will quickly understand.
This event is systemically comparable to one of the newer grind spots in BDO, where an elite monster spawns after killing or fulfilling a condition. Ashes takes this kind of content to the next level, because such events are not only dependent on the behavior of the players, but also on the conditions of the game world (day or night, time of year, node level, etc.).
Not only is a lot of false information being spread, but neither Blue nor his community understand what kind of MMORPG Ashes wants to be. They don't know the systems or the Content or only know them superficially. Instead, they only focus on the two aspects of the game that Black Desert (their main game) seems to be better at: combat and graphics.
Have fun with your good combat and graphics. It must be fun to grind in circles for hours in your soulless solo player MMORPG.

I actually think its too polished. creating trees that can all be cut, with realistic impact physics and regrowth rates, and that impacted by the node and other trees that are cut down is a cool idea. BUT, they still only have half the class available for a PVP game. I don't like PVP, I actually just want to craft in this game, but the more ambitious they get, the more it sounds like they are over reaching for launch.
